“Wakefield Park Carrera Cup Round 3”

After a relatively successful Grand prix meeting with 2 cars the time between then and our next round was mainly taken up with repairing the Moffat car after its big shunt in race 2, so it was off to Lacey’s once more. We also had a new bumper to paint and fit to Bairdo’s car and both the Moffat and Mawer car needed new clutches.

I had scheduled another test day at Wakefield on the Wednesday prior to the race meet and the timing of this was touch and go due to the extensive repairs required to the Moffat car. Needless to say Heath at Lacey’s once more stepped up to the mark and had the car back to us bang on schedule. The boys had prepared the other 2 cars prior to the Moffat car returning to the workshop so it was all hands on deck to get it ready for transport.
