Well it has been exciting if not stressful time since the last round of Carrera Cup in July. We have had a sponsor and driver change for my car previously driven by Andrew Moffat. The circumstances of this are better left unsaid but for a time there I thought my car would not be finishing the season. Along with this, Sherrin Motorsport (the category manager for Carrera Cup) went into liquidation and that event ended up being our saving grace as this left David Russell with no car to defend his 3rd spot in the championship. I have always rated Dave and a phone call, and numerous discussions later, we had done a deal to put him in my car for the rest of the year. We couldn’t have done it though without his sponsor Boom Logistics’ support and we are both grateful that they have continued to lend a hand.
