“Barbagallo Round 4”

After a testing Wakefield round we headed home and set about checking the cars, doing some preventative maintenance and preparing for the long trip to WA. The cars at last came back with hardly a scratch so it was good to give Lacey’s a break for a change.

We had scheduled a gearbox overhaul for Andrew’s car and during the process found the Limited Slip Diff was cracked once again. We scheduled to replace all the major gears and of course now the LSD but unfortunately there were none in the country or overseas so we have had to take the gamble that this one would last another race meeting. The alternative was that we wouldn’t run and that was not an option. We also re-checked the cars on the dyno for power and all checked out o/k.
